Bishop Kenneth A. Green has overcome much with the help of Jesus!  In 1995, Bishop was in a serious car accident placing him in poor health and under heavy financial strain. During the month of January in 1996, Elder Green was in a coma from adult onset diabetes, and it was then God spoke His Word to him that "thou shalt not die but live to declare the works of the Lord."  Thus began the Ministry of Straightway Apostolic Temple Inc. (formerly Greater Morning Star #4).

From an Oxon Hill living room, with eight souls, to the Pact House which was "packed out", to the Oak Hill Youth Center Chapel where many babes were born, to the Best Western Hotel, to our current location here in Severn, Maryland, we know that we know- it was the Lord who was our help, strength and advocate.

Yesterday is gone, we are unsure about tomorrow, but today while we have a chance, we will praise our Wonderful Savior with all that's within us.  We give Him all the Glory and the Honor that is due unto him.
